2 Cut  seed beads are similar to charlotte and true cut seed beads, but have more facets. The facets add an enchanting sparkle and irregularity to your standard round seed bead.

This crosscut used to be done by double cutting; therefore they are called 2 cut beads.

Two-cuts are seed beads in the shape of longer cylinder cut from tubes with a round hole and with a hexagonal crosscut (or twisted hexagon), that are further tumbled and polished by heat to get rid of sharp edges after cutting.
